David Pospischil is counsel in the firm's litigation practice group where he focuses on complex commercial and business matters, including the firm’s work on behalf of clients involved in federal and state subprime litigations. Prior to joining OP, David was an associate in the New York office of Kelley Drye & Warren LLP and counsel in the New Jersey office of Lowenstein Sandler PC. In the litigation departments of these firms, David handled a variety of commercial and complex litigation and arbitration matters, including securities, insurance, and construction disputes. His experience includes having been part of a trial team for a major financial institution, as well as having been appointed Special Assistant District Attorney for the Kings County District Attorney’s Office. David earned his J.D. cum laude from St. John's University School of Law in 1999, where he was a merit scholar and member of the American Bankruptcy Institute Law Review. He earned his B.A. in Government from Cornell University in 1996. David is a member of the bars of New York, New Jersey, and of the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the District of New Jersey.
