Richard A. Menchini is a partner in the firm's litigation practice group. Rich's practice includes representing clients in complex commercial and business matters, as well as in products liability, torts, and insurance matters. Over his career, Rich has been trial and appellate counsel in numerous cases before various federal and state courts.
Prior to joining OP, Rich was a partner in the New York offices of Haight, Gardner, Poor & Havens and its successor, Holland & Knight LLP. As a member in the litigation practice groups of these firms, he handled complex commercial litigation matters, particularly with respect to loan and security agreement defaults, secured creditors' rights, and insurance coverage disputes. Rich also acted as the lead counsel on products liability matters, defending manufacturers and distributors of various kinds of products, including printing and graphic arts equipment, construction equipment, medical devices, chemicals, and consumer products. He was also involved in the defense of maritime personal injury and wrongful death claims.
Rich graduated from Fordham Law School in 1983, and was a member of the Fordham Law Review. He received his BA in Psychology from New York University in 1979.
